FULTON, Mo. - Westminster women's soccer shut out MacMurray 8-0 for their second conference win.

The Blue Jays improve to 5-5 overall and 2-1 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. 

"I'm proud of the team for staying focused on the things we wanted to improve today," said Westminster Head Coach Jen Dyson. 

The Blue Jays scored five of their eight goals in the first half. Heidi Gundy started the scoring off in the sixth minute, followed by a score from Paige Townsend just 45 seconds later. 

Gracie Koonce recorded back-to-back goals in the 10th and 16th minute, while Gundy recorded her second of the game to end the half. 

Morgan Henry, Allison Frisella, and Payton Beeler all added goals in the second half to finish the game 8-0. 

The Blue Jays travel to Webster Thursday to continue conference play.
