Women's volleyball defeats Rose-Hulman in four

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team topped Rose-Hulman in four sets on Wednesday night as Allyson Mitchell provided 18 kills for Greenville.

The Lady Panthers won the first two sets by identical 25-21 scores before being topped 25-22 in the third set.  Greenville closed out the match with a 25-19 final set.

Savannah Sells and Sierah Ruffner each posted identical hitting percentages of nearly 46 percent.  Sells gave the team 12 kills and one error, and Ruffner had 11 kills and no errors.

Kirsten Laune provided 45 assists.

Greenville's defensive effort were led by Janisha Pealer with 22 digs and Mitchell with 20 digs.

Brittni Bell totaled eight block assists, and Sells added six block assists.

The Lady Panthers (17-5) host Iowa Wesleyan at 7 p.m. on Friday.
