Westminster Men's Tennis fell just short in their SLIAC matchup against Webster on Thursday, falling by a close score of 5-4.

The loss drops the Blue Jays record to 2-5 (1-3 in SLIAC) while the Gorlocks improved to 6-4 on the year (2-1 in SLIAC).

Westminster took two out the three doubles matches on the day with the duos of Adam Fuchs/Pete Hassenmueller and Joshua Udinyiwe/Phillip Udinyiwe earning the key victories.

In singles, Adam Fuchs and Phillip Udinyiwe both won their respective matches on the day, the closest one coming between Phillip Udinyiwe and Austin Nation where Udinyiwe pulled out a three-set thriller 6-1, 4-6, 15-13.

The Blue Jays will finish up their season next Tuesday, April 17th at Illinois College for a 5:00pm start.
