CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe hands Westminster volleyball its eighth loss of the season in a non conference matchup.

Westminster is now 13-8 overall and remains 9-2 in the conference, remaining in second place in the SLIAC.

"Though tonight's result wasn't a win, we were able to see a lot of things that will help us going forward for our end of the season push," said Westminster Head Coach Curtis Madson.

The Blue Jays started the match on a slow note, dropped the first set 25-14. Despite picking up the tempo in the next two sets, Coe took the match 3-0.

Hannah Marshall led the team with nine kills. Kayla Reeg added 24 assists and 11 digs.

"Credit Coe's ability to play clean all night, they never really gave us anything," said Madson.

Westminster continues conference play Tuesday by returning home for the first time in over three weeks. The Blue Jays face Principia at 7 p.m. in Historic Gymnasium.
