(25-14, 25-18, 25-17)
Set Breakdown
Set 1: The Griffins took a commanding 11-4 lead in the first on a kill from Rae Andrews. It was smooth sailing from there offensively for the Griffins cruising to the 25-14 win.
Set 2: Fontbonne led 10-6 but the Golden Eagles were able to meet-up with the Griffins at 14-14 on an attack error. However, the Griffins went on a 7-0 run capped off by Abby Grumich's kill and that gave them more than enough of an advantage to go on for the 25-18 victory.
