Box Score MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Piedmont College women's soccer team got its 2012 season started off on the right foot with a 2-0 victory over Westminster (MO) College in the opening round of the Rhodes College Classic.   After taking a 1-0 lead into intermission, an insurance goal midway through the second half secured the team's season-opening victory.

TAYLOR HOCKLEY got the Lady Lions' scoring started with a goal at the game's 20:00 mark on an assist from LAURA GOODWIN.  After intermission the KELSEY SCHAFFERNOTH slipped a free kick past the WC goalie for an insurance goal at the game's 63:00 mark. 

Piedmont will wrap up the two-day event with a 1:00 EST kickoff against Fontbonne University.
