Webster Ranked 8th in Preseason Poll

The Webster University baseball team is once again ranked in the Top 10 of the D3Baseball.com Preseason poll, coming in at #8 in the 2014 edition.

For the third consecutive season the Webster baseball team begins the season ranked in the top ten by D3Baseball.com. The Gorloks received 415 points in this year's preseason poll, placing them eighth after finishing the season sixth in the final poll of the 2013 season. Last year Webster was ranked 10th in the preseason poll and they were 7th in the 2012 poll.

Webster finished 2013 with a 37-12 overall record and advanced to their second consecutive NCAA Division III National Championship after capturing the Regional crown. The 37 wins in 2013 also set a school record, breaking the program mark for the second straight season.
