Webster's Kurich Named ABCA Central Region Coach of the Year

Webster University head baseball coach Bill Kurich has been named the ABCA/Diamond Sports Central Region Coach of the Year for 2015.  This is the fourth selection for Kurich, and the third time in four years he has earned Central Region Coach of the Year honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

Kurich led the Gorloks to a 34-15 record and a third trip in four seasons to the NCAA Championships 'World Series' in 2015.  He has compiled a 301-116 career record, all at Webster, winning his 300th contest at the helm during this year's SLIAC tournament.

Kurich also received ABCA Central Region Coach of the Year honors in 2008, 2012, and 2013.  Kurich has also picked up d3baseball.com Central Region Coach of the Year honors the last three years, from 2013-15, and was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year for the sixth time in his career, in 2015.
