Webster Baseball 5th in ABCA Preseason Poll

The Webster University baseball team has been ranked 5th in the American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball 2016 pre-season poll.  The Gorloks garnered 260 points in the poll, where 2015 national champion SUNY-Cortland State headed the list at number one.

The Gorloks will play five games vs. top 30 teams in 2016 including a three-game series vs. #10 Linfield College (OR) in California, and single games vs. #7 Rhodes College (TN) and #26 Concordia College (IL).  Webster will also face Washington University and Buena Vista University (IA), both receiving votes as well.

Webster finished 34-15 in 2015 after making its third NCAA III World Series appearance in four years. The Gorloks finished 8th in the ABCA/Collegiate Baseball final poll in 2015.
