Spalding Up Five Spots, Webster at #22 In Latest ABCA Poll

Spalding University moved up five spots to #21 and Webster University, despite dropping eight spots, remained in the latest American Baseball Coaches Association poll at #22.

After jumping into the poll for the first time this season last week and continued their rise by moving up to #21 in this week's poll. The Golden Eagles are 14-3 overall this season and have won four straight games, including a win over #1 ranked UMass-Boston. Spalding picked up 118 points in this week's poll, nearly doubling their total from last week. Spalding is 2-0 in the SLIAC and is set to face MacMurray College in a three-game conference divisional series this weekend in Louisville, Ky.

Webster slipped eight spots this week to #22 in the poll, receiving 114 points. The Gorloks are 9-5 overall after losing games to Rose-Hulman and Wartburg last week but have still won eight of their last 11 games including three over ranked opponents. Webster is scheduled to host Westminster College in a divisional series this weekend.
