Webster Men's Basketball Places Four on 2010-11 NABC Honors Court

ST. LOUIS - The Webster University men's basketball team placed four members on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2010-11 'Honors Court,' which recognizes players who excelled in academics this past year. Webster's four awardees were all second time honorees by the NABC as well. The Webster student/athletes honored for 2010-11 were:

Brad Cookson (SR, Seckman HS), education major
Nick Jones (SR, Heritage HS, IL), business administration major
Robby Meeh (SR, Lindbergh HS), business administration major
Scott Restoff (SR, Mater Dei HS, IL), accounting major

Eligibility for the NABC award includes a student being a junior or senior academically, and a member of the school's varsity. Candidates must have a 3.2 or higher cumulative grade point average at the conclusion of the award year, and have attended their institution for at least one year.

Webster was the lone St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference member to have student-athletes honored for 2010-11. The men's basketball team is coached by Chris Bunch.
