MacMurray's Long Reaches Milestone

MacMurray College junior forward became the latest Highlander to reach a career milestone, recording his 1,000th career point in Saturday's game against Greenville College. Long netted 36 points on Saturday, going 13-of-17 from the field while also grabbing 10 rebounds.

For his career Long now has exactly 1,000 career points. He is averaging 19.7 points per game this season, ranking him fifth in the conference. Long was a First Team All-Conference player last season and he is the first Highlander to reach the milestone since Deavis Johnson accomplished the feat last season.
