  • Fontbonne Announces 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees

    The Fontbonne University Athletics Department is pleased to announce the 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees. This year, Pat McCoy (men's basketball), Kate Evers (softball, women's basketball, track and field), Meghan Mulvihill-Taylor (women's basketball) and Kendra Schilli (women's soccer, women's basketball) will join the Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 12th.

  • Feehan Named NABC All-District

    Eureka College junior guard Shea Feehan has been voted to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Central District Second Team, according to a Monday announcement from the NABC. Feehan, who was also named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year last month, led the Red Devils to 18 wins and their first league tournament bid since 2013.

    Greenville University put a scare into the home crowd of #9 ranked Augustana College (Ill.) but had their hot hand cool off in the second-half, falling 123-111 in the opening round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball National Tournament.

    The Greenville men's basketball team has been placed in the regional hosted by Augustana in Rock Island, Ill.  The Panthers qualified for their first NCAA national tournament by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament on Saturday.

    This year's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament will include a battle of defending champions and two newcomers to the field. Westminster College is the two-time defending tournament champion and will face Greenville University, who has won a share of the regular season title in each of the last three seasons, in the opening round. Meanwhile, Eureka College will be making their first postseason trip since 2013 and face Blackburn College, who are making their first trip since 2006.

    Eureka College junior guard Shea Feehan (Peoria, Ill./Notre Dame H.S.) has been selected as one of 100 players to the Watch List for the Bevo Francis Award, according to a Monday announcement by Small College Basketball. The award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within the affiliations of NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA Division I, NAIA Division II, USCAA and NCCAA.

  • Goodman Records Triple Double

    Principia College TreVaughn Goodman had a performance to remember on Tuesday night, recording a triple-double in his team's game against Greenville University. Goodman tallied 43 points, 15 rebounds, and 14 assists in the game; becoming the first player in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to record a triple-double since Shea Feehan from Eureka College did so in February 2017.
