Eight Represent SLIAC On NABC Honors Court

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2017-18 Honors Court, recognizing men's basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season which included eight players from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Those representing the NABC Honors Court from the SLIAC for the 2017-18 season are:

  • Jake Lochhead, Blackburn College
  • Chet Griffith, Eureka College
  • Alex Wiegand, Eureka College
  • Parker Davidson, Principia College
  • Micah Paulson, Principia College
  • Jeff Ross, Principia College
  • Dominic Newton, Webster University
  • Parker Van Nest, Webster University

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet the following qualifications: Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player, cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher, attended current institution for at least one year, and member of a NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.
