Honors Continue for Paulson

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the 2019 NABC Coaches' Division III All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division, selected by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division III.

Principia College's Micah Paulson was selected to the Central Region Second Team All-District for NCAA Division III.  Paulson's season was one for the history books, as he topped the charts for SLIAC points per game and total points, surpassed his coach Todd Zimmerman as the career points leader for Principia College, was 5th in the nation for points per game, was selected as the SLIAC Player of the Year, SLIAC First Team All-Conference and D3Hoops.com All-Region Team!

This is the first time in Principia College history (at the NCAA DIII level) that a player from Principia has been selected to the NABC All-District team.  It has been since the early 1970's when Principia was in the NAIA and Mike Bushong and William "Bird" Nietmann played that a Principia player has received this prestigious honor.

Coach Zimmerman comments, "It has been an unbelievable year filled with accomplishments for Micah. It is great to see his work ethic and willingness to do anything for the team be rewarded with these honors that have not been seen at Principia since the 1970's."
