Hughes Named SLIAC Golfer of the Week
Webster University's Jon Hughes is the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Golf Player of the Week for the first week of the 2015 fall season. Hughes, a junior from Gardner, Kan., tied for 5th in the Culver's Edgewood Invitational last week. His two round score of 147 was just five over par and helped his team finish fourth out of 13 teams in the field. Hughes' round included a second round low of 70, the second lowest score in the tournament.
