Trio of SLIAC Teams Battle in Fall Invite
A trio of St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference golf teams battled over the weekend in the MacMurray College Fall Invite in Jacksonville, Ill. Blackburn College, Iowa Wesleyan College, and MacMurray College all teed it up on Sunday within a field of seven teams.
Iowa Wesleyan and MacMurray tied for third in the field with a team score of 314 while Blackburn was sixth with a score of 317. Lewis & Clark Community College and Mineral Area College tied for first in the event with a 307.
Blackburn's Kyle Kesingel shot a 72 to finish second individually while Patrick Zielinski of Iowa Wesleyan shot a 73 to place third. MacMurray's Jacob Hierlmeier shot a 77 to tie for ninth and round out top ten SLIAC finishers in the field.
