Webster's Ciesla Takes SLIAC Golf Player of the Week Honors

ZAC CIESLA, WEBSTER UNIVERSITY Webster University's Zac Ciesla is the SLIAC Golf Player of the Week for the first week of the fall season. Ciesla, a freshman from Lake Charles, La., helped the Gorloks to a second place team finish in the Edgewood Classic. Taking the course for the first time in 2016 the freshman bested a field of 91 golfers, shooting a two day score of 140. Ciesla jumped out to the front with a opening round of 69 and wound up shooting two under par for the tournament to capture the individual title. |
