Blackburns Kesinger Named SLIAC Golf Player of the Week

KYLE KESINGER, BLACKBURN COLLEGE Kyle Kesinger from Blackburn College is the SLIAC Golf Player of the Week for September 14, 2016. Kesinger, a junior from Carrollton, Ill., opened his 2016 fall season with a first place finish in the Greenville Quad Meet. Playing against a field that included players from two other conference schools, Kesinger shot a round of 74 in the one day event. He finished four over par on the course at Indian Springs Golf Course, edging out his nearest competitor by two strokes. With Kesinger leading the way the Beavers took home the team title as well, shooting a team score of 308. |
