Miller Takes First At Loras Invite

Iowa Wesleyan University senior Kiley Miller took first-place at this week's Loras College Fall Invite. Miller placed first in a field of 43 players from five different schools.

Miller stood in second place after the first round, with a 72, one stroke behind the leader. But it was a tournament-best round of 69 in the second round that put Miller out in front. Miller was the lone player to shoot below par in the two-round event. He finished with a score of 141, one below par, and led the field by four strokes. Miller is the defending SLIAC Golf Player of the Year after winning the conference championship last spring.

As a team Iowa Wesleyan finished fourth out of five teams with a score of 632, shooting 316 in each round. Brock Butler was second on the team with a 159, tying for 19th place individually.
