SLIAC MEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK - OCT. 4 Nielsen, a junior from Chicago, Ill., is the SLIAC Men's Golf Player of the Week for Oct. 4. Nielsen took 4th place at the Hopkins Golf Invitational, shooting a two-round score of 144. He was consistent all weekend, as he carded an even-par 72 in both rounds of the event. This marks the second straight event that Nielsen has finished in the top five. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK - OCT. 4 Householder, a junior from Nevada, Mo., goes down in conference history as the first SLIAC Women's Golf Player of the Week. Householder finished 20th at the Millikin Dechert Classic last weekend with a two-round score of 176. Householder's low round was in the first round of the event when she shot an 87. She finished +32 over par and was the top finisher for the Griffins. |
