Nielsen Places 2nd In Spring Debut

Spalding's Garrett Nielsen and Tim Imhoff played their way to top-10 individual finishes at the Franklin College Spring Invite over the weekend at the Donald Ross Golf Course at French Lick.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After 18 holes, Nielsen was tied for fourth carding a five-over-par 75, and shot a 76 in the final round to move up the leaderboard taking second with a 75-76=151 two-round total.
• Imhoff, playing in his first tournament as a Golden Eagle tied Nielsen with a 75 in the first round, and slipped back to seventh following an 80 carding a 155 two-day total.
