Blackburn Soccer Raises Money For Kids Cancer Research

The Blackburn College soccer programs recently donated $650 to Cookies for Kids's Cancer.  Cookies for Kid's Cancer is committed to raising funds for research to develop new, improved treatments for pediatric cancer, the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S.

The programs raised funds through a raffle, t-shirt sales, and hosting a youth soccer clinic.  Approximately 50 youngsters attended each of the clinics in September which were instructed by the players.  The soccer programs would like to thank everyone who contributed to the cause.
