Webster's Fassler Voted to Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

ST. LOUIS - Ryan Fassler (Lutheran South HS), a junior tennis player for the Webster University men's tennis team, has been voted to the 2011 Capitol One/CoSIDA Academic All-District VII At-Large Team. The At-Large teams are made up of participants in sports, including golf and tennis, that do not have their own teams.

Fassler garnered a berth on the College Division, All-District Second Team. The College Division is made up of all NCAA DII, NCAA DIII, and NAIA schools within the district. Webster is part of the CoSIDA seventh district, which includes colleges and universities from seven differerent states.

Fassler is a management major who has maintained a 3.96 cumulative grade point average at Webster and has been named to the Dean's List four times. He holds the Webster men's career record for singles wins with 27.

He is the first Webster student-athlete to be voted to the Capitol One/CoSIDA At-Large team.
