O'Leary Named Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach at Fontbonne
ST. LOUIS - The Fontbonne University Athletic Department is pleased to announce it has hired Kyle O'Leary as its new head men's and women's tennis coach.
O'Leary comes to Fontbonne after serving as an assistant tennis coach at neighboring Washington University in St. Louis last season. There he helped lead Wash U. to a 4th Place finish at the NCAA Division III Tournament. O'Leary is also currently an integral part of the tennis community where he serves as a tennis professional at Bellerive Country Club and Frontenac Racquet Club.
"We are excited to have Coach O'Leary join the Fontbonne family", says Maria Eftink, Fontbonne's Director of Athletics. "His extensive tennis background, passion for the sport, and vision for our program made him a wonderful fit for Fontbonne. We are excited for the future of Fontbonne Tennis under Coach O'Leary's leadership."
O'Leary earned his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Duquesne University in 2011. While at Duquesne, O'Leary was team captain and finished with 69 career wins in just under three years of play, where he helped lead the Dukes to a 3rd place finish, the best Atlantic-10 Conference finish in team history.
