Jones Named Principia Men's Tennis Head Coach

Principia College is proud to announce that Rusty Jones has been hired as the new head men's tennis coach. 

Rusty has served Principia as the Manager of Stewardship and Donor Relations for the past few years, but has long been an enthusiastic player and coach of tennis. Certified with the United States Professional Tennis Association at the highest level, Rusty has led and supported comprehensive programs for prestigious clubs across the country since 1984.  Highlights from Rusty's full career include coaching the Principia School boys team to a Missouri State championship in 1985, holding the record for the fastest serve at an AMF/California Sportsman Invitational (144 mph !!), and authoring a book META TENNIS: A handbook for folks not necessarily Wimbledon bound, in 2007.
