Greenville, Spalding to be Represented at NCAA DIII Men's Track & Field Championships

ST. LOUIS - Greenville College and Spalding University will both be sending competitors to the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Track & Field Championships to be held Thursday, May 23-Saturday, May 25, at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wis.

Greenville's Bruce Gray qualified in both the 100-Meter Dash and 200-Meter Dash. Gray will be the #3 seed in both races after posting times of 10.55 seconds in the 100m and 20.98 seconds in the 200m. Josh Kuusisto qualified in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 61.53 meters, which places him as the #3 seed.

Gray, along with teammates Josh Garcia, Ryan St. Hill and Treyvon Manning will also compete in the 4x100 Meter Relay. The team recorded a qualifying time of 41.71 seconds and are seeded #14.

Spalding's Kyle Jenkins is seeded #11 in the Discus Throw. Jenkins posted a qualifying throw of 51.47 meters, making him the lone qualifier for the Golden Eagles.
