Nine USTFCCCA All-Americans For SLIAC

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) had nine All-Americans on this year's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America Team. Greenville College led the way with seven All-Americans while Principia College and Spalding University each had one.

Greenville's 2015 All-American list was highlighted by Bruce Gray. Gray was just one of four men to earn All-American honors in at least three events. Gray was named All-American in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and 4x100 meter relay; including winning the national championship in the 100 meter dash. Andrew Sharp picked up All-American honors in the 800 meter race while Terran Daniels, Jonah Peoples, and Jarrid Williams earned All-American honors along with Gray in the 4x100 meter relay event.

Principia's Conrad Bollinger joined the All-America team by picking up honors in the pole vault while Spalding's Kyle Jenkins was named All-American in the discus. Bollinger is the first Principia Panther to earn All-America honors since Drew Clark in the 1500 meter run in 2011. Jenkins becomes the second consecutive Spalding athlete to earn All-American honors, joining Eric Whipple who was named All-American in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dash last year.

This marks the second consecutive year the SLIAC has had nine USTFCCCA All-Americans, the most in conference history. For a complete list of the 2015 USTFCCCA All-America team click HERE
