SLIAC Men's Track and Field Players of the Week - April 24

This week's SLIAC Players of the Week are Brett Charlton, from Eureka College and Shane Witters-Hicks, from Principia College.

SLIAC MEN'S FIELD PLAYER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 24
BRETT CHARLTON, EUREKA COLLEGE

Brett Charlton is the SLIAC Men's Field Player of the Week. Charlton, a sophomore at Eureka College, take first place at the Concordia Cougar Invitational in the long jump. Charlton, from Eureka, Ill., had a winning jump of 6.60 meters, the third-longest jump in the SLIAC this spring.

SLIAC MEN'S TRACK PLAYER OF THE WEEK - APRIL 24
SHANE WITTERS-HICKS, PRINCIPIA COLLEGE

Shane Witters-Hicks is the SLIAC Track Player of the Week. Witters-Hicks, from Golden, Col., competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase, taking first-place at the Rose-Hulman Twilight event. Witters-Hicks finished with a time of 9:16.05, setting a new meet and stadium record and recording the 6th fastest time in NCAA Division III this season.
