Carter Breaks 60 Year Principia Record

Corey Carter had a record-setting day while competing in the Greenville Select Meet. Carter, a freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio, continued his impressive season for the Panthers with two more first-place finishes on the day.

Carter took first in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. His time of 10.76 seconds in the 100-meter race was the best in the conference this season and the 15th fastest in NCAA Division III this season.

Carter's monumental race, however, came in the 200-meter race where he finished in a time of 21.51 seconds. That mark broke a school record that had stood for 60 years and is the 5th fastest in NCAA Division III this season.
