Teubner Wins Central Methodist Eagle Invite

FULL RESULTS

Westminster's junior Glenn Teubner and senior Jesse Edwards led the way for the Blue Jays with a first and second place finish at the Central Methodist Eagle Invitational 5K.  The men's cross country team placed second in the dual with a total of 34 points while averaging a race time of 17:54.88.  

Teubner won his first collegiate race with a time of 16:43.18 while Edwards finished just behind him with a time of 16:46.84. 

Senior Will Megl finished next for the Blue Jays, beating out a Central Methodist runner by a second to place eighth with an 18:13.20 time. Sophomore Nathan Wilson placed 11th with an 18:42 time, and senior Nathan Fox and freshman Andrew Patterson rounded out the team with a 12th (19:08.21) and 14th (21:10.34) place finish, respectively. 

The Blue Jays compete next at the Principia Invite on Friday, September 4, in Elsah, Illinois.
