Ott Leads SLIAC Runners at H.W. Wright Classic

Principia College's Abe Ott was the highest finisher among five SLIAC teams competing in the H.W. Wright Classic. Ott took 8th place in the 8K race, finishing in a time of 28:22, nearly eight seconds faster than his closest SLIAC competitor. Boone Steele and Stevie Keyes finished 40th and 41st respectively for the Panthers as the team itself took 5th place.

Webster University, the only other SLIAC team that fielded a full race roster, finished in 4th place overall. The Gorloks were led by Cameron Sakuma, who finished in 10th with a time of 28:30. Nathan Freyling and Kaelin Triggs finished back-to-back in 24th and 25th place individually. 

Domenick Blanchette led Fontbonne University with a 57th place finish and a time of 33:09 while Zach Vespa was the top finisher for MacMurray College with a time of 33:49 (60th place) and Sam Moore led Westminster College with a time of 32:31 (53rd place).
