Westminster's Hahn Sets School Record For Shutouts

Westminster's softball sophomore pitcher, Alyson Hahn, broke the Westminster career record for shutout wins on April 1, 2015. The broken record came from Wednesday's 8-0 shutout victory at Iowa Wesleyan College, giving Hahn her fifth career shutout. 

With Wednesday's shutout victory, Hahn also tied the season record for shutouts with three. Her other two shutouts from this season came from the March 11th 3-0 win over Stephens College and the March 28th 6-0 win over Eureka College.

Hahn finished her freshman season with two shutouts and a 5-7 record. After Wednesday's games, Hahn holds a 4-4 record from the mound for the season and a 9-11 career record.

The previous record was held by four players throughout a 10-year history.
