Blue Jay Student-Athletes Help Community

Members of the Westminster football and softball teams logged community service hours on Thursday, September 17, as they helped with the second annual Brick Blast event. 

Six members of the Westminster football came out before the event to help set up. They loaded picnic tables and placed them throughout the street. They also put up the tents for the event.

The women's softball team came out after the event and took down the tents. They loaded the picnic tables on the trailer and brought them to Walmart and unloaded them for the United Way's Phonathon. They also set up the tents for United Way.

The Brick Blast is an annual event hosted by Fulton's Brick District to welcome new and returning Westminster and William Woods students back to school.
