Hahn Ties Westminster Career Wins Mark

Alyson Hahn earned the 31st win of her career during game one of the Westminster sweep over MacMurray, tying the career record.

Hahn improves to 4-2 on the year. The Blue Jays are now 9-9 on the season, starting the conference season 2-0 with the 14-1, 14-0 wins.

"This was a great way to start out conference play," said Westminster Head Coach Joe Henderson. "The seniors stepped up today."

Hahn pitched five innings, allowing just one solo home run in the first and giving up three hits.

Brittany Hodge led the team by going 5-6 on the day, including three RBI in game one and one in game two.

Katie Price took the mound in the second game, pitching a one-hit shutout for the Blue Jays. She improved her record to 4-2 with the win.

Amber Tepen blasted a home run, the only one for Westminster on the day. She and Josie Cotter both recorded four RBI in the game while Callie Collier and Erica Burney each had two.

"I'm proud of them all as each one played their role and produced," said Henderson. "It's time to move on and keep getting better."

The Blue Jays travel to Spalding Saturday for a weekend series against the Golden Eagles.
