Eureka College President J. David Arnold has appointed EC Director of Athletics Steve Thompson interim Eureka women's basketball head coach, according to an announcement Monday. Thompson, who has appeared in four NCAA Division III Tournaments as a student-athlete and assistant coach, will be the 11th head coach in program history and begin his responsibilities immediately.

Eureka College women's basketball head coach Victoria Jones has resigned, according to an announcement from EC Director of Athletics Steve Thompson, Thursday morning. Jones, who cited professional opportunities for her resignation, went 17-9 overall and 13-5 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competition in her only season as head coach of the Red Devils.

Spalding's Charlie Just was named the Coach of the Year while Rachel Perea, from Principia College, was named Newcomer of the Year. Westminster College received the conference's Sportsmanship Award.
