Zalis Named D3hoops.com All-Region

Westminster College forward Andrea Zalis has capped her four year career by being named to the 2016-17 D3hoops.com All-Central Region Team. Zalis was named to the Second Team and is the lone representative of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. She is also the first honoree from the conference recognized by D3hoops.com since Kayla Styles, of Spalding University, was named the All-Central Region Rookie of the Year in 2014-15 and the first player to be named to the All-Region team since Caty Eeten, from Eureka College, earned Third Team honors in the 2013-14 season.

Zalis, from Rolla, Mo., averaged 17.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, leading the conference in both statistical categories. She also finished second in the conference in three-point field goals made (63) and third in blocked shots (31). She finishes her Blue Jay career as the program's all-time leader in points (1,375), blocked shots (91), season points (425), season rebounds (195), single game points (35), and single game rebounds (17).
