OFFENSE
Eileen Koppy (Westminster (Mo.))
Westminster College's Eileen Koppy, a freshman from St.
Louis, Mo. (Lindbergh), has been named the Women's Soccer Offensive
Player of the Week for the week of October 22-28.
Koppy, a midfielder, recorded two goals and one assist for a total of five points last week. She had one assist in a 4-0 shutout versus Eureka College. Koppy then scored two goals as the Blue Jays defeated Blackburn College 6-0 to end the season.

Kaniz Abbas (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Kaniz Abbas, a senior from Festus,
Mo., has been named the Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
for the week of October 22-28.
Abbas, a goalkeeper, posted two shutouts last week en route to helping the Griffins to a share of the 2012 SLIAC Regular Season Championship for the first time in school history. Abbas had seven saves and played 93:00 minutes in goal as Fontbonne handed Webster University their lone conference loss of the season, 1-0. Abbas also helped the Griffins to a 3-0 victory versus MacMurray College.

Kristin Montgomery (Webster)
Webster University's Kristin Montgomery, a sophomore from
St. Louis, Mo. (Duchesne), has been named the Women's Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 15-21.
Montgomery, a forward, had two goals and one assist in two games played last week. She had the game-winning goal and tallied one assist in a 10-0 Webster victory versus MacMurray College. Montgomery then netted the lone and game-winning goal in a 1-0 win on the road at Principia College, handing Principia their first conference loss since the 2007 season and keeping Webster undefeated at 6-0.

DEFENSE
Jessica Davis (Webster)
Webster University's Jessica Davis, a sophomore from
Belleville, Ill. (Belleville West), has been named the Women's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of October 15-21.
This marks the second time this season that she has earned the
honor.
Davis, a goalkeeper, extended her shutout streak in the SLIAC to six games as the Gorloks defeated MacMurray College, 10-0, and Principia College, 1-0. She also extended her shutout minutes to 540 minutes in conference play and lowered her goals-against average to 0.53. Davis posted 11 saves in the 1-0 victory on the road that handed Principia their first conference loss since the 2007 season.

OFFENSE
Erica Kaiping (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Erica Kaiping, a junior from
Waterloo, Mo., has been named the Women's Soccer Offensive Player
of the Week for the week of October 8-14.
Kaiping, a forward, recorded three goals in two conference games last week. She had one goal in a 2-0 victory versus Greenville College. Kaiping added two goals, including the game-winning goal, as the Griffins defeated Spalding University 3-0.

Paige Pfankuch (Fontbonne)
Fontbonne University's Paige Pfankuch, a freshman from
Belleville, Ill. (O'Fallon Township), has been named the Women's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of October
8-14.
As a central defender, Pfankuch helped Fontbonne post two shutout victories last week. She is part of a defense that has not allowed an opponent goal in 289 straight minutes. Pfankuch also had one assist last week in the Griffins 3-0 victory versus Spalding University.

Katie Ballard (Spalding)
Spalding University's Katie Ballard, a freshman from
Huntington Beach, Calif. (Edison), has been named the Women's
Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October
1-7.
Ballard, a striker, recorded four goals in three games played last week. She scored the lone, game-winning goal in a 1-0 win against Westminster College (Mo.). Ballard also had a hat trick with all three goals in the Golden Eagles 3-0 victory over MacMurray College. Spalding went 2-1 on the week, with their loss a 6-0 defeat to Webster University.

Amy Schield (Webster)
Webster University's Amy Schield, a sophomore from
Belleville, Ill. (Belleville West), has been named the Women's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of October
1-7.
Schield, a defender, played a key role in the Gorloks' to conference shutouts last week. She marked Blackburn's top forward, not allowing a single shot on goal as Webster won 5-0. Schield is a key to Webster's defense that has only allowed nine goals total this season. Webster head coach Luigi Scire commented that "Amy's intelligent play, quickness and physical style is essential to our success on the defensive side of the ball".

OFFENSE
Sammi Ferguson (Blackburn)
Blackburn College's Sammi Ferguson, a junior from
Jerseyville, Ill. (Jersey Community), has been named the Women's
Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September
24-30.
Ferguson, a forward, posted five goals and one assist in two games played last week. She recorded a hat trick with three goals in Blackburn's 7-0 victory over Robert Morris University-Springfield. She then added two goals and one assist in a 4-3 loss to Fontbonne University in both team's SLIAC opener.

Kristen Muehlenfeld (Webster)
Webster University's Kristen Muehlenfeld, a junior from
Quincy, Ill., has been named the Women's Soccer Defensive Player of
the Week for the week of September 24-30.
Muehlenfeld, a defender, has helped the Gorloks post five shutouts this season, including a 2-0 win versus Illinois College last week. According to Webster head coach Luigi Scire, Muehlenfeld's "leadership and strong play has resulted in the team only giving up eight goals in 10 games."

Ally Nikolaus (Webster)
Webster University's Ally Nikolaus, a junior from St.
Louis, Mo. (St. Joseph's Academy), has been named the Women's
Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September
17-23.
Nikolaus, a midfielder, helped lead the Gorloks to two victories on the road last week. She scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Millikin University and provided her squad with 90 minutes both offensively and defensively. Nikolaus added another game-winner in Webster's 5-1 victory against North Central College.

Murilla King (Principia)
Principia College's Murilla King, a junior from Novato,
Calif., has been named the Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the
Week for the week of September 17-23.
King, a goalkeeper, posted a shutout against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology last week. She had four saves as Principia won 2-0.
"Murilla was aggressive off the line and showed composure with the ball at her feet when providing support for her defenders on a pass back," commented Princpia head coach Jess Semnacher.

Kesli Blankenship (Eureka)
Eureka College's Kesli Blankenship, a junior from Lowell,
Ind., has been named the Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the
Week for the week of September 10-16.
Blankenship, a midfielder, had her second consecutive hat trick in Eureka's 5-0 win over Lincoln Christian University. She posted three goals in the win and also added the lone goal for the Red Devils in a 3-1 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Sami Williamson (Eureka)
Eureka College's Sami Williamson, a senior from
Naperville, Ill. (Naperville Central), has been named the Women's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September
10-16.
Williamson, a goalkeeper, made three saves to earn her third career shutout in a 5-0 victory over Lincoln Christian University. She then had 14 saves in a tough 3-1 loss Wisconsin Lutheran College.

OFFENSE
Rachel Publicover (Principia)
Principia College's Rachel Publicover, a senior from
Saratoga, Calif. (Westmont), has been named the Women's Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 3-9.
Publicover, a forward, had three goals and two assists in two games played last week. She scored one goal and one assist in a double overtime draw against Millikin University. Publicover then scored both goals in a 2-1 victory against Loras College. Principia fell behind 1-0 in the first half, but Publicover scored shortly after off a cross from teammate Hayley MacWilliams. She then netted the game-winner in the 89th minute on a deflection off the goalkeeper.

Jessica Davis (Webster)
Webster University's Jessica Davis, a sophomore from
Belleville, Ill. (Belleville West), has been named the Women's
Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September
3-9.
Davis, a goalkeeper, went 2-0 in goal last week with two shutouts. She posted three saves against Elmhurst College, who was ranked No. 6 in the Central Region. The Gorloks defeated Elmhurst, 1-0. Davis then had two saves in a 3-0 win over Monmouth College (Ill.), who had previously been undefeated.

OFFENSE
Gabby Parks (Eureka)
Eureka College's Gabby Parks, a junior from Carmel, Ind.
(School of Environmental Studies), has been named the Women's
Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of August
31-September 2.
Parks, a forward, broke the single-game school record in her Eureka debut with five goals in the Red Devils' 6-2 win over Rockford College. She finished with six shots on goal and 10 shots overall. Parks also started at forward and managed one shot in a 11-0 loss at Lake Forest College.

DEFENSE
Carlie Sanderude (Principia)
Principia College's Carlie Sanderude, a junior from
Ridgefield, Conn., has been named the Women's Soccer Defensive
Player of the Week for the week of August 31-September 2.
Sanderude, a defender, helped to keep the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse scoreless through 90 minutes, and she also scored the game-winning goal to give Principia the 1-0 victory in the season opener. Sanderude's stellar defensive effort then helped keep the 2011 NCAA Division III Runner-Up, Wheaton College (Ill.) at bay for the first 75 minutes. Principia tied the game at 1-1, and an aggressive defensive effort kept Wheaton from scoring until the final minutes of double overtime, as Principia lost 2-1.
