Webster Women's Soccer Earns 4th Straight NSCAA Ethics Award

The Webster University women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 2015 Bronze Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award.  The Gorloks were the only team in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to qualify for the award in 2015.

This is the fourth straight year, and the eighth time in the program's history, the Webster women's soccer team has received the award.  The NSCAA awards platinum, gold, silver, and bronze levels, and for 2015, only 83 college women's teams nationwide at all divisions (NCAA I, II, & III/NAIA/NCCAA) received the award.

The award is given at four levels to soccer teams that accumulate no red cards and its yellow cards are equal to 50% or less of games played for the season.  Bronze award recipients can have a number of yellow cards equal to 30-50% of games played for the year.  The Gorloks received only eight yellow cards over the course of their 19-game season.

The Gorloks previously received recognition, for the 16th straight year, from the NSCAA in 2015 with a Team Academic Award for its team grade point average.
