Pagan and Sipole Garner NSCAA Scholar All-Region Honors

Brianna Pagan and Natalie Sipole have been named to the 2016 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-Region team. Pagan, from Webster University, picked up Second Team All-North/Central Region honors while Sipole, from Fontbonne University, was named to the Third Team.

Pagan, a junior midfielder from St. Louis, Mo., carries a 3.86 cumulative grade point average (GPA) while majoring in mathematics. She was named an NSCAA All-Central Region selection for a third straight year in November after tallying five goals and a team-high seven assists this past fall. She also earned SLIAC First Team All-Conference honors and was named the MVP of the 2016 SLIAC Tournament.

Sipole, a senior midfielder from Troy, Ill., is the first player in Griffin history to earn NSCAA Scholar All-Region honors. Siple is majoring in Speech-Language Pathology and holds a 3.55 grade-point average. This past year Sipole also picked up NSCAA Third Team All-Central Region honors and was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team as well as First Team All-Conference. She finished the season with one goal and 11 assists.
