Webster Women's Tennis 2015 ITA All-Academic, Five Players Scholar-Athletes

The Webster University women's tennis team earned its second straight Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award.  Five Webster women's players were named 2015 ITA Scholar Athletes as well, the largest number of individual recipients for a single year in team history.

To qualify for the ITA All-Academic Team Award, team rosters must maintain a cumulative 3.2 grade point average (GPA) for the academic year.  Scholars Athletes must maintain a lofty 3.5 minimum GPA for the year to qualify for the Award.  The Webster ITA Scholar Athletes were:

Kaylen Kress, JR, Bartlett, IL (Bartlett HS)
Stephanie Lass, FR, Lake Villa, IL (Lakes Community HS)
Brianna Pagan, FR, St. Louis, MO (Washington HS)
Morgan Rabe, FR, San Diego, CA (Clairemont HS)
Erin Roop, JR, Lacrosse, WI (Aquinas HS)

Kress and Roop were ITA Scholar Athletes in 2014 as well.  Webster has earned the All-Academic Team Award four of the past six seasons.  The Gorloks were the only team in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to qualify for the award in 2015.
