Reeg Joins Westminster's 2,500 Assist Club

Westminster's junior setter Kayla Reeg became the second person to join the Westminster 2,500 Assist Club. She hit her 2,500 mark in the match versus MacMurray College on September 19, 2015.

Reeg is already the holder of the Westminster modern day career assist record and continues to add to that number daily. Her first two seasons with the Blue Jays are marked in the record books. She ranked second in the modern-day season assist record with 1,054 assists in 2014 and third in the modern-day season assist record with 1,048 assists in 2013. 

Reeg averages 9.68 assists per set throughout her career and currently sits with 2,533 assists just over a third of the way into her junior year. 

The program career record, and the other member of the 2,500 Assist Club, is held by Jennifer Whitaker, 1996-99. She sits at the top with 4,384 assists.
