MacMurray Helps To Raise Over $2,000

The Set, Serve and Rally for the Cure fundraising match between the MacMurray College and Illinois College volleyball teams on Oct. 26 at MacMurray resulted in a $2,352 donation to the Mia Ware Foundation in Jacksonville.

The annual event, for which the two colleges alternate as host, has raised more than $12,000 for the Foundation during the five years of the event. Nearly 15 area businesses and organizations contributed prizes, services and money to help make the event a success. The Mia Ware Foundation supports cancer research and prevention in the Jacksonville community.
