Mackall Named Eureka Volleyball Head Coach

Nick Mackall has been named Eureka College volleyball head coach, according to an announcement from Director of Athletics Bryan Moore Wednesday morning.
Hauser Named Blackburn Head Volleyball Coach

Morgan Hauser has been named the new Head Volleyball Coach at Blackburn College. Hauser comes to Blackburn from conference rival MacMurray College where she served as the top assistant coach this past season.
Five New Members of Webster Athletics Hall of Fame

Four student-athletes from the sports of women's cross country, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, women's soccer and women's tennis and a longtime athletics administrator were inducted into the Webster University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2019 in a ceremony Saturday night at the Sunnen Lounge in the University Center on the Webster University campus.
MacMurray to Induct Four into Hall of Fame

On Saturday evening, four new members were inducted into the MacMurray Athletic Hall of Fame. Brad Burger '87, Kelly Matthes '07, Joy Davis Moore '97 and Mike Schmidtke '07 were all honored at the induction ceremony.
Popovic Named Interim Head Coach of Tigers Volleyball

Iowa Wesleyan University Director of Athletics, Derek Zander announced this morning that Aleksandra Popovic will serve as the interim head volleyball coach. She will oversee the recruiting and spring season while a national search for a head coach is being conducted.

Young Concludes Career As Beaver Career Kill Leader

Blackburn College senior Alanni Young closed out her career as the all-time leader in kills in volleyball program history. Young, from Glasford, Illinois, accumulated 617 kills in just three seasons of playing.
Webster Announces 2019 Hall of Fame Class

Webster University Athletics will place five new inductees into the Webster Athletics Hall of Fame during its annual Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday, Feb. 9. This year's 10th Hall of Fame class which was formally unveiled on Monday afternoon includes four former Gorlok student-athletes and a longtime Webster Athletics administrator.

MacMurray Tops $1,600 In Donations For Cystic Fibrosis

The MacMurray College volleyball team hosted their annual Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day back in September with fellow SLIAC schools. Proceeds from a silent auction as well as donations at the door allowed the Highlanders to raise well over last year's amount, raising over $1,600 for the Cystic Fibrosis Gateway Chapter in St. Louis.
Panthers Season Ends At Calvin

The women's volleyball team competed against NCAA Division III No. 1 Calvin in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Thursday night. The Panthers managed to keep up with Calvin in the first two sets, but Calvin separated from GU with a third set win as Greenville dropped the three-set match.

The women's volleyball team has been placed in the NCAA regional hosted by Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich. The Panthers qualified for their fourth straight NCAA national tournament by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament on Saturday. GU has now played in five NCAA national tournaments.

Greenville Makes It Four In A Row

The Greenville University volleyball team made it four in a row, powering their way to the 2018 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship. Greenville hit a combined .242 in the two matches on the day including putting down a season-high 65 kills in the championship match against Webster.
