Freeman Sets Greenville Records
Abby Freeman had a record-breaking Saturday for the Greenville University Panthers. Freeman set program records for single season kills and single season aces on Saturday. Freeman totaled 39 kills in two matches on Saturday, as the Panthers defeated Westminster and Iowa Wesleyan. She also had 10 service aces in the two matches including eight against Iowa Wesleyan.
On the season Freeman has 467 kills, averaging 4.67 per set, with 77 aces. She currently ranks 4th in NCAA Division III in kills per set and is 3rd in service aces while leading the nation in points per set.
