2014 Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week

OCT. 20 - SARAH LITWILLER, PRINCIPIA COLLEGE
Litwiller, a senior from Concord, Calif., faced a tough field at the Bradley Open. Competing in a field with nearly 300 runners, with numerous D I racers, Litwiller finished in the top 81. She finished the 6K course with a time of 22:41, averaging a 6:05 mile pace.

OCT. 13 - SARAH LITWILLER, PRINCIPIA COLLEGE
Litwiller, a senior from Concord, Calif., placed second in her program's home meet. Running on a muddy and wet course Litwiller finished the 6K race in a time of 23:18, placing second out of 37 runners. This marks the third time this season Litwiller has won Player of the Week honors.

OCT. 6 - SARAH LITWILLER, PRINCIPIA COLLEGE
Litwiller, a senior from Concord, Calif., is this week's Women's Cross Country Player of the Week. Litwiller finished 7th individually out of 134 runners in the field. Running on a forest course Litwiller finished her 6k race with a time of 23:42 and helped her team to a 5th place finish in the field of 14 teams. This is the second time this season Litwiller has earned weekly honors.

SEPT. 22 - SHANNON McCAUL, WESTMINSTER COLLEGE
McCaul, a freshman from Rolla, Mo., finished the 5k Missouri Southern Stampede with a time of 20:07, a mile pace of 6:28. McCaul helped her team finish 16th overall at the meet while she finished 59th individually.

SEPT. 15 - MOLLY WORKS, GREENVILLE COLLEGE
Works, a junior from Lenzberg, Ill., set a personal record this past weekend running in the Olivet Nazarene University Illinois Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships. Works finished the 5K course in a time of 19:43, setting a new personal record and placing 24th overall. She finished with a 6:21 mile pace and helped Greenville finish 6th in the 14 team field.

SEPT. 8 - CASEY RICHARDSON, SPALDING UNIVERSITY
Richardson, a junior from Louisville, Ky., led her team at the Queen City Invite last Friday. Richardson posted a time of 20:44 in the 5k race as the Golden Eagles finished 14th at the meet. Her time put her on a 6:40 mile pace for the race.

SEPT. 2 - SARAH LITWILLER, PRINCIPIA COLLEGE
Sarah Litwiller, a senior from Concord, Calif., is the SLIAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after picking up where she left off last year. Litwiller, the defending SLIAC Champion, took first place in her program's season opening meet this past weekend. She finished the 4K race with a meet best time of 15:22, cutting nearly 90-seconds off her time from last year, and averaging a 6:10 mile pace.
