2019 Women's Cross Country Players of the Week

Kalleigh Linthicum, Webster University

Linthicum grabs her 4th weekly award this fall after a stand out run at the Kollege Town Sports Invitational. The junior finished the 6K course with a time of 23:31, clocking a season-best time for that distance. Her finish was also the 8th fastest 6K distance in program history.

Emme Schaefer, Principia College

Schaefer, a sophomore from Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., takes home weekly honors after her 7th place finish at the Illinois College Invitational. Schaefer completed the 6K race in a time of 24:24, her second-fastest mark this season. She was the top Division III runner in the race, which also featured two other SLIAC members, by nearly a minute.

Charlotte Blair, Westminster College

Blair, a senior from Montreal, Mo., ran a personal best time of 21:32 at the Columbia College Show Me Showdown last weekend. She finished 46th overall in the field of 81 and this is her first-ever Player of the Week honor.

Kalleigh Linthicum, Webster University

Linthicum grabs her third award this season and second in a row. She was the first to cross the line at the H.W. Wright Classic, completing the 6K race in a time of 24:54. The finish was her third top ten finish this season. With Linthicum pacing the Gorloks, and a field of 71 runners, she helped Webster finish 2nd as a team.

Hannah Williams, Greenville University

This marks the second time this season that Hannah Williams has been named the SLIAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Williams, from Greenville, Ill., finished her 5K race with a time of 21:19. That placed her 8th in a field of 73 runners at the Midwest Intercollegiate Championship.

Kalleigh Linthicum, Webster University

Linthicum picks up her second weekly award of the 2019 season after a 5th place finish at the Les Duke Invitational. Running in her first 6K race of the season Linthicum completed the race in a time of 23:59, finishing 5th in a field of 136 runners. The junior from Lake St. Louis, Mo. has now been the top Gorlok finisher in both of the team's races this season.

  Hannah Williams, Greenville University
Williams, a sophomore, secured a 10th place finish at last weekend's UIS Prairie Stars Invitational. Williams finished the 5K race in a time of 20:43, finishing 10th in a field of 54 runners. She was the highest finisher for the Panthers and averaged a 6:37 mile pace.

  Kalleigh Linthicum - Webster University
The junior from Lake St. Louis, Mo. set a Webster record in the first week of the season. She set a new program mark in the 4K with a time of 15:11, bettering the previous record by four seconds. She finished 10th overall in a field of 44 runners at the WIU Early Bird Invitational.
