SLIAC Women's Cross Country Regional Recap

The 2019 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country season came to an end on Saturday as several teams competed in their respective regionals. Webster University was the top SLIAC finisher at the Midwest Regionals, held in Winneconne, Wis. The Gorloks finished 18th overall, averaging a time of 24:37. Kalleigh Linthicum and Kaitlin Higgins had strong showings for Webster. Linthicum finished 54th individually with a time of 23:43 while Higgins was 60th with a time of 23:50.

Greenville University came in 29th place with an average team time of 26:10. Hannah Williams (25:31) and Kori Nesbit (25:38) led the Panthers coming in 147th and 149th. 

Emme Schaefer was the top finisher for Principia College with a time of 24:49, finishing in 117th place. 

Sierra Howardson represented Iowa Wesleyan University and came in 184th place with a time of 26:29. 

Charlotte Blair came in 185th place for Westminster College, recording a time of 26:34.

Meanwhile, Spalding University sent their women's runners to the Great Lakes Regional. Victoria Shedron paced the Golden Eagles with a time of 23:24, finishing in 91st place as Spalding finished 30th as a team.
