Westminster to be Represented at NCAA Leadership Forum

Fulton, Mo. – Two student-athletes and one staff member will represent Westminster College at the 2011 NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum November 3-6 in Chicago, Illinois. The mission of the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum (Leadership Forum) will engage a diverse and dynamic representation of student-athletes, coaches, faculty and administrators and provide pertinent and customized sessions that will enhance personal awareness and leadership skills needed to impact student-athlete development at the campus and conference level, and beyond the collegiate realm.

Sophomore women's tennis student-athlete Sarah Heeter (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) and junior baseball student-athlete Kevin Moritz (Chesterfield, Mo./DeSmet) will join Assistant Athletic Trainer/SAAC Advisor Sabrena Lary at the Forum, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Heeter is a biology major and a member of the women's tennis team who earned second team all-conference honors as a freshman. Moritz, who is majoring in biology, is a Dean's List student who earned honorable mention recognition and academic all-conference honors in baseball as a sophomore.
