Westminster College Coaching Staff Returns To Classroom

Fulton, Mo. - The Westminster College coaching staff returned to the classroom Thursday and participated in a two-part education program presented by head athletic trainer Josh Thompson and assistant athletic trainer Sabrena Lary.

The morning session focused on first aid and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED). The in-class session is designed to assist the coaching staff enhance their working knowledge of the equipment and prepare them to take the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers certification exam. Certification is required for each member of the coaching staff.

In the afternoon, the Westminster coaches had a session with members of the Callaway County Ambulance District and then toured the athletic facilities to review Westminster's Emergency Action Plan.
